5 signs you have adjusted to life in Germany
This one is for all the expats in Germany. Do you feel adjusted to life in the country already? Here are the first few signs that you may have… Comment below with more observations and ideas!
- You follow the traffic rules and wait for the green ‘ampelmann’ to cross the road, even if at times the streets are empty.
2. You have stopped converting prices at the supermarket from Euro into your home currency, each time you go shopping.
3. You have probably become a pro at budget travelling: across the country, across Europe, solo as well as in groups
4. If earlier, you thought that coming 5 to 10 minutes late was acceptable, your perception has now changed, and you are always on time now.
- You have friends from all over the world, and you know: irrespective of what goes on in politics and the media, your friendship has and will remain unchanged.

Hallo! Also… German people are very sensible about their language, and although German school education is generally considered good, I am surprised about how few people, even the educated ones, can speak English or another language for that matter.
